Dubai Museum
Built in 1787, this museum in the Al-Fahidi Fort is made of traditional coral-blocks and lime. Talk about ancient construction work. In the courtyard, you'll see a palm-leaf house and traditional boats. In the right-hand and left-hand hall, are weaponry and Emirati musical instruments, respectively. And if you want to see what traditional Emirati life is like, check out the dioramas and exhibits at the display halls.
Bastakia (Old Dubai)
This is where wealthy Persian merchants live, in coral and limestone buildings built in the late 19th century. Strolling down the streets will take you back to a time when Dubai was still building up to its rapid modern development. If you love Arabian architecture, this is where you should be.
Burj al-Arab
At 321 meters high, Burj al-Arab is the tallest hotel in the world. Accommodation and tourist attraction in one, staying a night here takes on a new meaning. And even if you don't book a room, you can still check out its colored lighting show at night. This hotel has an underwater restaurant and a bar with a panoramic view of the city.
Jumeirah Beach
A sea of dessert may be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Dubai, but some of its sandy strips do hide a beach destination that many visitors flock to. It boasts of excellent facilities and equipment for water sports.
Mall of the Emirates
Its architecture is enough to leave you in awe, making it one of the must-visit places when in Dubai. But the real reason it's very popular among tourists is its indoor ski slope that brings the look and feel of the Alps to you.
Aquaventure Waterpark
Home to the longest water slide in the world! Need we say more? Based at Atlantis, The Palm on the Palm Jumeirah, it's the perfect place to cool off, enjoy the view, and take lots of beautiful photos you can flood social media with.
Burj Khalifa
