Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

If your idea of a vacation is to commune with nature, this well-known wildlife park in gold coast provides the perfect spot. It is especially ideal for bird lovers, what would the many brightly colored rainbow lorikeets that call it home.

In this park, you can enjoy a free-flight bird show, Segway tours, a train ride around park, and an Adventure park high ropes course.

Surfer's Paradise Beach

This 3-km strand is considered iconic for its white-sand beaches, picturesque views, and skyscrapers rising behind the shore. They are shallow areas for kids and gentle swells for surfers. When the sun goes down, the beach is lit for evening strolls.

If you want to ride some waves, you can catch them at the nearby Snapper Rocks, Greenmount Point, Duranbah and Kirra Beach.

Dreamworld

This theme park boasts of an Aussie twist. Aside from the usual lineup of rides and live shows, Dreamworld also hosts many animals that are native to Australia. Here, you can get up close and personal with tree kangaroos, dingoes, crocodiles and many more.

There's also an aboriginal corroboree experience that you can enjoy via virtual reality. Listen to songs, watch dance performances and listen to stories. If you want to see endangered big cats, sign up for a sunset safari at Tiger Island.

Not far from Dreamworld is the White Water World where you can swim and have fun on the water slides and splash pools.

Lamington National Park

If you want to get a birds-eye view of the park, you should walk on the 180-m O'Reilly Treetop Walk that is made up of a series of suspension bridges that stretch above the rainforest canopy.
