The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 as the entrance arch for the World’s Fair. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel, and at the time, it was the tallest man-made structure in the world.

The tower is made of iron, and it’s divided into three levels. The first two levels are accessible by climbing the stairs, and the third level is only accessible by elevator.

• The top is not accessible for people with reduced mobility for security reasons, but all visitors with disabilities who have full mobility can access the top. Please note that you may have to wait for the lift to take you from the second floor to the top.
• Its a self guided tour. Once you have the ticket(s) go straight to the "Visitors with Tickets" entrance and scan your tickets Bar code to gain access.
