The train ride to and from Lourdes was simplified by having someone book the tickets and guide us. The tour guide at Lourdes was very knowledgeable. We saw more than I expected.
The tour is cancelled 6.17am on the tour day itself, whilst we were told that we would be picked up at 6am. So we waited for 17mins until we got an sms that it is cancelled Currently im waiting for the money to be refunded. Even if I receive the refund, I will not recommend to book La Vacanza Travel, as it can ruin your holiday.
The Lourdes come for a day experience was fantastic. Every step of the way the guides helped me, and upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly face who took me to the sanctuary. The guy during the tour was so knowledgeable and joyful. What a remarkable place to visit and I’m so thankful that La Vacanza Travel offered me this opportunity. It’s a must to do.
The knowledge and information shared with us by our guide Ms Susan as we visited the churches, the crypt of saint bernadette, and especially the grotto where to this day the spring runs brought religious history to life. This is not to mention the first-class treatment TripAdvisor gave us by putting us on a plane to and from Lourdes when the trains were full to show how TripAdvisor will honor their commitment to deliver the Lourdes tour to their travelers.
Great tour—We ended up being told we were flying instead of the train for the same price, which is much faster. Nathalie, our guide, was waiting for us at the airport and gave us a wonderful tour with great insight into the region in general and the stories of Bernadette and Lourdes..
