Itinerary

Day 1: Shanghai-Beijing (L)

Pass By: Beijing South Railway Station, Yongdingmen Wai Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100069 China
Your driver will pick you up from your Shanghai city hotels lobby and take you to Shanghai Railway Station. You will take the morning train to Beijing which takes about 5 hours.

Upon arrival, your tour guide will hold your name sign waiting for you at the exit of the arrival hall. Then heading directly to Tian'anmen Square.

Stop for lunch, then follow your tour guide to explore the city.

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Tian'anmen square is the world’s largest public square, it is the home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong and the great Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes. Follow your tour guide, stroll along the square and get to know the histories and stories behind.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
From there you will pass through the South gate to the magnificent Forbidden City - a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions and gardens, which served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for more than 500 years. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. See ancient treasures from thousands of years of history and admire the maze of palaces, gardens and stunning courtyards as your guide informs you about their histories and stories.

After the tour finished, you will be transferred to your hotel (Please book your own hotel in Beijing)

Day 2: Beijing Great Wall (L)

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Your driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 8:30am for departure to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall.relax on the 1.5 hours drive to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall.

Mutianyu Great Wall more rugged and slightly less crowded than more famous Badaling section of the Wall. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards.

Follow your tour guide to hike up and down different towers, and enjoy the convenient way of cable car round trip ,or toboggan ride at the wall.

Pass By: Olympic Park, North of Beisihuanzhong road, Chaoyang District, Beijing 100101 China
Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then you will drive pass by the Olympic Park and stop for photos. Beijing Olympic Park is where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics took place. The two famous stadiums are -The Water Cube and The Bird's Nest ,The Bird's Nest was the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, when it had a capacity of 91 000 spectators.

Stop At: Bell and Drum Towers, Di'anmen Wai Main Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Afterwards, you will stop at the Beijing Bell and Drum Towers, go up to the tower to watch the drum beaten performance, then stroll along the Hutong allays in this area to check out the locals living life.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing (please book your own hotel)

Day 3: Beijing (L)

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
The driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:30am, today your exploration begins with the Temple of Heaven, once visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual prayer ceremonies. Follow your tour guide to stroll around the park to check out the local retired peoples daily life in the park, and get to know the histories and stories about the temple.

Stop At: Silk Street & Pearl Market (Xiushui), No.8 Xiushui East Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing 100020 China
If you want to purchase some souvenirs, you will stop at the Silk or Pearl market for some free time shopping, your tour guide will teach you how to negotiate price.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
After lunch in the local restaurant, heading to the Summer Palace.

The Summer Palace in Beijing – first built in 1750, largely destroyed in the war of 1860 and restored on its original foundations in 1886 – is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.The Summer Palace combined political and administrative, residential, spiritual, and recreational functions within a landscape of lakes and mountains, in accordance with the Chinese philosophy of balancing the works of man with nature.

With your knowledgeable and experienced English speaking guide,you will hear all detailed stories and historical about this Palace.

After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. If you choose to travel back to Shanghai or heading to Xi’an you can choose the related option when make booking.
