Day 1: Beijing-Datong(Hanging Temple, Yungang Grottoes)(L)
Stop At: Hengshan Hanging Temple (Xuankong si), Hengshan, Datong China
Meet our driver at your Beijing city hotels lobby for your transfer to Beijing Railway Station, enjoy a 2 hours bullet train ride to Datong on your own. Your Datong local tour guide will greet you upon arrival, then heading directly to the Hanging Temple(1.5 hours drive).
The hanging temple is the only existed temple hosting worship for the Taoists, Confucians and Buddhists. Built in 491 A.D, Hanging Temple is an architectural wonder because it hangs on the west cliff of Jinxia Gorge more than 50 meters above the ground.

Stop At: Yungang Grottoes, Wuzhou Mountain, Urban Area, Datong 37000 China
After lunch in the local restaurant, explore the Yungang Grottoes.
Follow your tour guide to explore the grottoes and niches, get to know its history and culture. With their 252 caves and 51,000 status, the Yungang Grottoes art represent the successful fusion of Buddhist religious symbolic art from south and central Asian with Chinese cultural traditions, starting in the 5th century CE under Imperial auspices.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Datong.

Day 2: Datong - PingYao (Pingyao Old Town) (D)
Stop At: Pingyao County, Pingyao County, Shanxi
Your driver will pick you up in your hotels lobby, then you will be transferred to Datong Railway Station, enjoy a 3.5 hours bullet train ride on your own, once arrive Pingyao, your tour guide will greet you and you will be transferred to your hotel in Pingyao. (Please manage your own lunch)

Stop At: Pingyao County Government Museum, Within Pingyao County, Pingyao County 031100 China
In the afternoon, followed your tour guide to do a walking tour of Pinayao Old City. Founded during the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046 – 771 BC) and rebuilt in 1370, the Pingyao old city is listed as the UNESCO site. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of old times lifestyle and appreciate the charms of old China. Feel free to discuss with your tour guide on where you want to go in the old city.
After dinner in the local restaurant, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Pingyao

Day 3: Pingyao - Xi'an (Pingyao Shuanglin Temple, Xi'an City Wall, Muslim Street) (D)
Stop At: Shuanglin Temple, Qiaotou Village, Zhongdu Country, Pingyao County 031100 China
Start early in the morning, after meet you tour guide, heading directly to the famous Shuanglin Temple in Pingyao.
Follow your tour guide to explore the site which is considered as “the Oriental Treasure House of Painted Sculptures” and “A Museum of Ancient Statues”, where keeps over 2,000 exquisite ancient painted sculptures and lots of beautifully preserved frescoes from Yuan to Ming Dynasty (13th -17th century). These masterpieces of art and the entire architecture complex are ancient cultural splendors, infrequent folk art estates and great window to learn Buddhist culture in China.
Then you will be tranferred to Pingyao Railway Station for a 3 hours train ride to Xi'an.

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
Once arrive Xi'an, you local tour guide will pick you up from Xi'an North Station.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, then visit the 600years old Xi’an City Wall. Reach the top of the centuries-old city wall, admire views of the city below.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xi'an.

Day 4: Xi'an (Terro Cotta Warriors, Big Good Pagoda) (L)
Stop At: Terracotta Warriors Museum, Salisbury Street, Dorchester DT1 1JU England
Your tour guide will pick you up in your hotels lobby and heading directly to the world-famous Terracotta warriors museum which known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”. The original site was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974 and now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xi'an. Stroll around the museum and get rich information from your tour guide.

Stop At: Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta), Enci Temple The southern part of Yata Road, Yanta District, Xi'an 710061 China
Enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, then in the afternoon explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was originally built in 652 with the function to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang.
Stroll around the courtyard and halls, gain deep insight into its rich history and learn the stories about Xuanzang.
Your tour will ends here, you can choose to finish in your tour in Xi'an, or heading to your next destination (at your own cost)
