We stayed at a resort in Mai Khao which is 40KM from Phuket (Patong Area). Our driver Azi arrived on time in a nice and clean van which was spacious enough for the 6 of us. We had planned to visit the Big Buddha, Phrom Thep cape and Chaitararam temple with a stopover at Phuket old town. Azi planned the trip perfectly and also took us for lunch at the Mountain Breeze restaurant. We cut short our outing at the old town since it was post lunch and very hot, instied Azi suggested that we visit the wholesale outlet where we could shop before we were dropped off at our Resort
Dol was an amazing guide. We got to go to all the spots we wanted, and then some of his favorites, which we really loved. He had a good efficient route, and we had some extra time at the end to go to a restaurant with his favorite mango sticky rice. Would definitely recommend!
A good value experience. Please be aware this experience does not come with an official guide. I booked after reading previous reviews which seemed to infer a guide is provided. It does clearly state in the other information that this is not the case and I only realised afterwards. Our driver was Nutt and he was professional and courteous. He did help us build our own itinerary on the day. We had a 6 hour trip and traffic was heavy so if you wish to cram lots in I would say go for the 8 hour trip. All things considered this was still value for money as we are not phased about being left to our own devices but if you want a guided tour you may need to look elsewhere.
He was amazing and took us to some many beautiful places we would never have considered going. He told us some much information and made it fun
All the itineraries but most especially the Phuket Town where we bought a lot of fresh fruits then we ate at the next vendor who was cooking foods for lunch. They werent supposed to open till 3 but our driver Tan talked to the people to let us eat!! It was delicious. Tan, our driver was patient and very informative..
