The road runs 500 metres above the sea, offering spectacular views over the Mediterranean coast. The Grande Corniche passes through the Col des Quatre Chemins, the Col d'Èze (512 m) above the perched village of Èze, La Turbie above Monaco, before descending to Roquebrune.

Stop At: Fort de la Revere, 06360 Eze France
Sitting just above Èze, this fort is the perfect place to revel in 360-degree views. An orientation table helps you get your bearings. The fort was built in 1870 to protect Nice (it served as an allied prisoner camp during WWII).

The Tête de Chien (Dog's Head) is a 550 m (1,804 ft) high rock promontory near the village of La Turbie. It overlooks the Principality of Monaco, and is the highest point on the Grande Corniche.
