Once the richest Abbey in England, Glastonbury Abbey Ruins is still a magnificent representation of the influence of Glastonbury Abbots & their surroundings. It is also the alleged burial place of King Arthur.

A magnificent mound that is said to be The Isle of Avalon; entrance to The Underworld & resting place of King Arthur.

Stonehenge and Glastonbury are definitely must see destinations. The roadtrips to and from the sites were comfortable and safe. Our tour guide, Oz, was very knowledgeable not only about the background and history of Stonehenge and Glastonbury but also of the places we passed along the way. What could have been a perfect experience however ended with a disappointment when our tour guide decided not to drop us at our hotel invoking a myriad of excuses forcing us to take an Uber.

We wanted to leave London and see some sights. Ox, at My Tailored Tours is absolutely amazing and one of the most knowledgeable historians I have ever met. We learned so much about the history of Stonehenge and Glastonbury. Both Ox and Christian were personable and welcoming. Our van was clean and very comfortable. Additionally, we booked the tour months ago and every time I emailed with a question, they were quick to respond and answer any questions I had. If you want a personal, private experience, this is the company to use.
