With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it's easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George's Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

Stop At: Stonehenge, Salisbury SP4 7DE England

The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, this prehistoric monument never fails to impress!

We had a very nice trip with our very own tour guide Bruce who was very professional and loves what he’s doing and with Eduart as a driver who drove carefully and smoothly.

This was a terrible, poorly organized trip. For starters, the guide was a person for whom English was a second language and whose accent was so strong, we could not understand him. Secondly, this person was not a guide but an organizer. The most frequent instructions we received from him was when and where to go to the bathroom. As if grownups could not decide this for themselves. Furthermore the first stop on this trip is Windsor Castle. We got there by 9:30 and were told to return to the bus by 11:30. And the gates to and from the castle are closed between 10:45 and 11:30 because of the change of guard. Which meant we did not have 2 hours, we had an hour and fifteen minutes. And of course there is a line outside and by the time we got to the castle gates it was 10:30. That left us exactly fifteen minutes to see the castle. Had we listened to the guide and did indeed use that bathroom, we would be left with 5 minutes. We were furious. The company knows the schedule for the guard change and k owe how long it takes to make it inside. Then WHY a call this a trip to the Windsor castle? Why make that our first stop? Why not schedule a departure earlier or later? Please avoid this trip if you can. This was the first time in my life when I did not leave a tip to the guide.

We had a wonderful day. The tour departed on time. Our group was the first one in line for Windsor Castle. Our tour guide, Bruce, kept us entertained while waiting. He was very knowledgeable and gave us tips on how to use our time to navigate the castle surroundings. Bath was crowded. Enough time to visit the Roman baths and grab a bite. Stonehenge was perfect. Even with the rain.

Tour guide, Pauly & Driver, Mario! What can I say… The dynamic duo we all need when touring around! They made our day trip super memorable! Pauly made sure to efficiently plan our day so that we had the most time at each destination. We are personally very quick with our sightseeing so we had time to spare at each location. We were able to eat and enjoy all the sceneries, and all thanks to Pauly’s meticulous planning and Mario’s great driving. Pauly was very insightful, funny and he took the time to talk and guide all of us, INDIVIDUALLY throughout the day… How lucky are we!? I highly recommend touring with them, they are honestly the best we’ve experienced so far!
