Bought a voucher in December for Xmas present but have now closed down suddenly with no warning and lost best part of £150.00,

Me and the wife were not drinkers, however we went with friends in our motorhomes, and stayed on site, done the full package, lunch, dinner and even a breakfast, It was a great experience and very interesting, we both are now lovers of Gin, and me Rum also.

Probably the best Gin School experience. The depth of the information shared and the hands on activities are fab. Andrew knows his stuff. That is a fact. The introduction and history of Gin is excellent. The lunch is brilliant. The Gin School process is the best we have attended - we have done a few.

We are just back from our gin distilling day at The Old School. What a fantastic day we had. We arrived a bit early for the class and by 10.15 I had a glass of the distilleries wonderful Berries gin in my hand. Andrew gave an interesting and informative talk on the history of gin whilst letting us taste a selection of gins to further illustrate the differences. Fabulous! Lunch was amazing and delicious, all cooked on site by Marcy. The afternoon distilling our own bottle of gin was great fun and throughly enjoyable. And the gin samples just kept coming! Where else can you go and taste ‘test’ a variety of gins, have a stunning lunch in the company of lovely people and leave with a bottle of gin you have made yourself? A great day and well worth the money.

I want to know why school couldn’t have been like this before - might have concentrated more 🤣 We learnt all about the history of gin, the history of tonic, how gin is actually made and the rise of the popularity all delivered beautifully by Andrew. I could listen to him for hours. We then got to sample lots of gin! 😁 before putting our new found knowledge to the test. We got to make our own gin to our own flavours. Thankfully while it was ‘stewing’ they provided a much needed lunch which was beautifully cooked by Marcela which was a lifesaver. Back to our mixtures and we put it through the still, taking off the ‘head’ (my god that bits rough), before distilling the main part, checking for alcohol content and bottling, sealing and naming! Very happy with my creation - only time will tell what it actually tastes like but I have high expectations ☺️ The experience is 5 hours in total but it absolutely flew by and well worth every single penny. The best Gin experience I’ve ever done. Thank you team for an wonderful day and your hospitality throughout.
