Erawan Waterfall is recognized as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The major attraction of the park is the 7-tiered Erawan Falls with emerald green ponds. Erawan has seven separate tiers spanning approximately 1,500 meters through the thick rainforest of the park. The park are named after "Erawan", the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. Stop At: River Kwai Bridge, Maenam Kwai Road, Tha Makham 71000 Thailand

Thanks to several films and books, the Bridge on the River Khwae has become famous and attracted both Thais and foreigners to the site. If an ordinary black iron bridge can tell a story, you can be sure it's a dramatic one. The bridge has steel plates over the ties to make it easy to walk over the span. There are also viewing platforms between the trestles to give you a view of the river as well as to give you a place to get out of the way if you're on the bridge when a train comes.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: JEATH War Museum, Wat Chai Chumphon Ban Tai Subdistrict, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand

The name JEATH is derived from countries engaged in the WWII death railway construction from 1942 to 1945: Japan, England, America, Australia, Thailand and Holland. The JEATH museum displays photographs and illustrations narrating the living condition of prisoners of war (POWs) during that cruel time, some of which were donated by former POWs who survived. The museum building itself was also turned from the detention hut, used during that period.

Stop At: Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, 2G8J+9HP, Ban Tai, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi 71000, Thailand

Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, or Wat Tai, is an old temple that is invaluable to the people of Kanchanaburi province. In ancient times, Thai army had gathered many soldiers who were overwhelmed to join the ceremony to set up a shrine to worship the superstitious guardian angel. Our travelers will enjoy 45-minute Thai-style, long-tailed boat ride from here to Wat Tham Khao Poon and savor beautiful scenery of River Kwai.

Stop At: Wat Tham Khao Pun, Moo 3 Nong Ya, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand

Wat Tham Khao Pun is a cave temple with a fun labyrinth of illuminated passageways. The marked trail is a bit of a squeeze in some places, but ducking beneath limestone protrusions to discover these subterranean shrines is a special experience that you can't miss it!

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Chong Kai War Cemetery, Ban Khao Pun Road, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand

Chong Kai War Cemetery is your optional visit. You can tell your guide to visit this place if you are interested in Thai-Burma history. Had a great, very easy trip to Erawan and the river Kwai. Our guide Lin was very helpful and informative, but was also happy to give us space to explore the falls at our own speed and in private. Having the private tour made everything so easy, picked up from our hotel and driven around by a lovely and safe driver, while Lin explained the tour to us, then left us to catch some sleep on the drive out to the first site. The falls themselves were beautiful and swimming was great. Exploring the Buddha caves was exciting and then visiting the bridge over the River Kwai and the boat trip down the river were real highligjts. There were no extra fees or entry fees to cover, as it is all included in the price, so it really couldn't have been any easier.

This was an amazing trip that exceeded our expectations! Our Tour Guide Poppy and Driver Peter were exceptionally excellent! They picked us up on time gave great pointers on the best shops locations to get pictures helped us bargain bought us snacks, and kept us safe. They were kind professional courteous engaging accommodating and were just great to hang out with. Poppy was Mother Sister Friend photographer and guide to all in our group. We got to see and interact with local people and support local businesses. She negotiated and translated for us every step of the way. We rode the railway train to the train market and got great bargins pictures and videos. The floating market was quite the experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. And the Erawan waterfall was delicious! Thanks Poppy and Peter for an excellent and amazing day. We highly recommend this tour and our Tour Guide Poppy and Driver Peter.
