Well organised tour. Our guide, Paul, was knowledgeable, engaging, humorous and we could understand him well. He was very passionate about making sure all went well for us, his guests and never once was unapproachable. His knowledge was exceptional about Ayutthaya history. The tour was very well organised with pick up from river city and drop off at national stadium. This made sure we all got back at reasonable hour - I like another tour we took earlier in the week which insisted they drop us all off at various hotels - added 3 hours onto end time due to Bangkok traffic. So gold star for that one on this tour. Made much more sense. Lunch was nice. Plenty of free time at the sites for pictures etc Only thing I’d say was there was no communication before hand- I even wrote and asked a question but it was ignored. You need to wear over knees and shoulders for this tour. Info not included on booking info and when you google Ayutthaya is says it’s relaxed on dress code- but it’s not. Luckily had emergency trousers and shirt in my bag!

The reason why I gave this 3 stars is the price. My group paid $15 more per person for the same experience as everyone else in the group we went with. Even though there is a price guarantee the others took a different tour group which happened to be the one that my group was placed with. So same EXACT EXPERIENCE but $15 more. So look online elsewhere. The experience itself was good, the sites were different and unique. Also there were umbrellas at every site. I thought it was pricy for what I paid however had it been the other amount which the others paid ~ $35-40 USD it would have been worth it. It made the experience less desirable.

Our tour guide and driver were simply outstanding! They were very personable, attentive, patient and knowledgeable. Boeing, our guide, shared a rich history of everything, including personal anecdotes and he even sang the Thai national anthem. Mr. K, the driver, provided us with cold, bottled water and cold baby wipes after every stop, even adding a treat after one of the stops. The lunch included a wide selection of dishes and ours were great. The coconut smoothies were also delightful. Overall, great experience, and worth it. Highly recommend this excursion!

Amazing experience. Uncle Sam (tour guide) went above and beyond to make this trip very memorable. Recommend to request him if possible. Lunch was very tasty. If you are doing this tour try to book on the first or last Wednesday of the month. You will be dropped off at MBK shopping mall at the end and enjoy a free Muay Tai Fighting event.

We saw 4 temple ruins, ate a large and tasty lunch, and appreciated our guide Paul's historical knowledge and fun sense of humor. The bus ride out and back was comfortable, and although we left earlier than we would have liked, by leaving early we avoided the traffic and especially the heat that would have come later in the day. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
