Overview

Join the highest rated temple tour in Thailand!

Today, you'll explore the ancient history of Thailand by exploring the ancient temples of Ayutthaya - the old capital of the Kingdom of Thailand. Your expert local guide will take you through the remains of the city, showing you all of the most famous landmarks and telling their story.

Ayutthaya was sadly ransacked and plundered by the Burmese in April 1767, and although many buildings were damaged or destroyed you can still get an amazing sense of what this place must have once been like. There are so many temples here : roughly 400 years old and some are still in amazing condition.

This incredible day trip takes you back in time and away from the busy city, made easy with return transport from Bangkok and a tasty lunch included.

Once you have explored the incredible temples of Ayutthaya, you'll return to central Bangkok late afternoon.
