Overview

This 5,5-hour tour departs from Central Station Amsterdam to Holland’s colorful Keukenhof Park. Travel by air-conditioned bus through an area with endless tulip fields, one of the country’s most photographed and iconic landscapes.

You can choose between an audio-guided bus tour, which includes a multilingual audio guide and a free LOVERS Canal Cruise, or a non-audio-guided tour. The non-audio-guided tour offers a saver option with an afternoon transfer only, or a non-saver option with transfers to and from Keukenhof. You can also combine Keukenhof with a Dutch countryside tour.

At Keukenhof, simply skip the line and enter one of the largest flower parks in the world with over 7 million flower bulbs including tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils.

Dozens of gardeners work for months to get the park in shape. The bulbs are arranged according to a different theme every year. Enjoy approximately 3 hours to explore the park on your own before the return trip to Amsterdam Centraal Station.

  • The Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields are open for a limited time each year; while the staff at Keukenhof Gardens works very hard to ensure the seven million tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and spring bulbs are in bloom during this eight-week period, the cycle of blooming flowers depends heavily on weather conditions. You are guaranteed to see a mixture of flowers in bloom from March to May, but April travel dates are recommended for the greatest chance to see the gardens at their very best, including the tulips.

Audio on bus was disappointing bc the narration didn’t match where we actually were. But the driver was fine, and clear about where and when to meet the bus for the return trip. The process of checking in at central station was a bit confusing—but it was Kings Day

All the different and vibrant colors of tulips. Excellent experience. Well organized. We were well informed about the life of tulips.

No audio available eventhough we booked audio. Bus breakdown soon after all of us got in. We got less time spent in kuekenhof and time was not compensated. On top of all, we got intermitant rains.

The gardens themselves were great. The tour organisation was poor. We were asked to arrive 30 minutes before trip started. We were then kept waiting with no communication. The coach left 1 hour late. It seemed this was the norm!

We were thrilled to be able to see the Keukenhof Gardens at their peak! The La Vacanza Travel tour was efficient in getting us there on a comfortable bus, and a fraction of the cost of the excursion offered by our cruise operator.
