We loved spending the day with our tourguide Eugine. He was knowledgable about all the different points of interests we hit and explained even more while passing other notable places along the way. A great day and experience all in all!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Sights were spectacular. Those are the positives. It says the bus is air conditioned. The bottom was- the top certainly was not. It says there is wifi. No such luck (keep in mind if you don’t live in the country and are paying extra for mobile data… There are no power outlets. The premium coach is a bus, which would be fine if the seats were not quite small. Timing… Windsor- 3 people got left behind at the first stop. You wait in line at Windsor castle for about an hour- then you have maybe 40 minutes to cover ground that would take at least 1-2 hours if you don’t want to rush. “The changing of the guard happens- so if you do lag… you will get locked in while this takes place- and guess what- your bus probably leaves you behind. Not to mention if you do get through before the gates close- you have to fight a sea of people packing the sidewalks to see the changing of the guard- just to get back to the bus. Stone henge- after exiting the bus you have about 45 mins. You wait in a que for anywhere from 5-15 minutes to get a 5 minute shuttle up to the sight. Or you can take the 20 minute walk up… your choice… once you actually get to stone henge - consider doing one brisk lap around only stopping to take a few selfies. Or spend your 10 minutes sitting and meditating between the other tourists. And make sure you get back to the bus on time. Lacock- walk to the pub. Hairy potter filming has occurred here, so that is neat. This is about ten to 15 mins. Eat at the pub (don’t take your time) and don’t expect great taste. It’s all a bit bland. You maybe have about 30 minutes before you need to start walking back. Bath- beautiful- though you likely won’t have day light… still pretty at night. Great pics to take, left to your own devices- and don’t count on entering the Roman baths because you likely won’t make it before they close. Once again- don’t get lost… and get back to the bus on time. The total trip says about 12 hours. You might think when leaving bath- “hey we might actually make it back in the 12 hour mark… no. The trip back is twice as long and does not drop you in the spot you left from. It took over 3 hours for the return trip. In summary, if you would like to sprint through some cool spots snapping blurry pics and be uncomfortable in between… go for it. If you would rather enjoy a couple of these spots- just rent a car and go.

Bath in the dark was a COMPLETE waste of time. Most of the shops and the Roman Bath were closed by the time we got there. It felt like we just were forced to stand around. Adding time to Windsor Castle and leaving after Lacock lunch (wonderful) would have been preferred. We were also dropped off at a different location then pick up which made getting back very complicated.
