Walking Street, South Pattaya
Pattaya has built a reputation for being a party hotspot in Thailand, and Walking Street is where it all happens. During the day, the street from Soi 14 to Soi 16 is just like any other street in the central part of Pattaya, busy and filled with cars.
But when the sun sets and the street is closed to traffic starting 7:00 PM, it becomes the biggest and busiest entertainment and red-light district in all of Thailand that draws locals and tourists for its colorful nightlife offerings.
Walking Street is famous for its huge neon signage that includes a large video sign that was erected in 2010 at the entrance of Beach Road. Each side of the street is filled with live music venues, seafood restaurants, beer and sports bars, nightclubs, hotels, disco bars, and even go-go bars.
In fact, the street is so huge that you can spend every night for a week here and still find new places to explore, whether you’re looking for a good restaurant to dine in or a disco bar to dance the night away.
