Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands is an attraction in itself. In fact, you have to spend at least the weekend here to enjoy everything it has to offer.
Located 45 minutes away from the city at the peak of Mount Ulu Kali amidst a 100 million-year-old rainforest, Resorts World Genting offers the perfect getaway from the heat of the city and it has everything you need to relax and have fun.
This integrated hill resort covers more than 200,000 square feet of land and features six hotels and a leisure resort, indoor and outdoor theme parks, casinos, an 18-hole golf course and the largest strawberry farm in Malaysia.
Aside from cars, the resort is also accessible through two cable cars, Genting Skyway, which was once the world’s fastest cable car and the longest gondola lift in Southeast Asia, and the Awana Skyway.
One of the hotels in the complex is the First World Hotel, the largest hotel in the world from 2006 to 2008 with over 7,351 rooms. In 2018, the hotel gained a 4-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide Star Ratings. Crockfords at Resorts World Genting was also awarded a 5-star rating this year, the first and only hotel in Malaysia to receive such honor.
