We had a fantastic day out with Best of Britain Tours, travelling from York to Whitby via the North York Moors. Mark was a really friendly informative host/driver. The whole experience was so relaxed, enjoyable and extremely well organised. Mark makes a real effort to get to know everyone and could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend .

Mark is excellent as he remembered the names of all of us! He has a deep knowledge and explained everything in details. Whitby is a nice place to visit and the steam train is worth to try. Don’t forget to have fish and chips here in Whitby. Love to see the heather bushes bloom on the way to Whitby, at Farndale to be exact. On the way back to York, we saw goats crossing the road so we had to stop for a while. A moment to remember. If you plan to visit York, I recommend this tour!

This was a fantastic tour. Great group of people on a smaller bus, enough time to see all of the sights, and the tour leader was excellent. We learned so much about the various locations, were given clear instructions about where to go and where to meet during our open time in Whitby., and had a fabulous time. We highly commend the tour guide, Mark, who was knowledgeable, friendly, informative, and funny. Fantastic trip that we would highly recommend.
