Entertaining, informative and very quirky. Would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a laugh whilst gaining some insight into the unique and haunting history of York.

We found it a bit babyish and boring. No scares, just someone shouting down a microphone. Was advertised as comedy ghost tour. We didn't find it funny either. We've been on other walking ghost tours of York previously and found these much better. Wouldn't recommend or do it again. Lots of people left half way through when bus stopped mid way.

'John Doe' was our conductor host, he was exceptional! Atmosphere was suitably spooky, plenty of opportunities to interact with the hosts and other travellers. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we wish we had booked it twice!

Brilliant tour, so much fun. I took my 8 year old daughter & she learned so much history & also laughed so much. Highly recommend for kids & adults alike.
