I was looking for a cycling trip that would allow us to experience rural China. Guilin Cycling tour provided that in spades. Robert who I corresponded with, designed a trip that suited our dates & cycling fitness. The bikes provided were very comfortable & the right size. We never cycled out of busy towns, the roads chosen were sealed, rural forested valleys & interesting minority group villages. Forest Wu our guide was superb and spoke excellent english. He grew up in the country in the country then went to collage and was able to tell us first hand about rural life & the changes rural China has been through in the last 20 years. He has an excellent knowledge of Chinese history. Some of the villages we cycled through only had 1 restaurant but we always has delicious food.Mr Lee our driver was very patient, we were very well cared for, Nothing was too much trouble.
