As the former capital of China, Xi’an was the seat of the Chinese Emperor for more than 10 dynasties over a period of 1,000 years. On this full-day, 8-hour private tour you will visit one of the highlights of Xi’an, the thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors in the superb mausoleum museum.
Visiting the Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a highlight of any Xi'an tour, and gives you the chance to see more than 8,000 life-size Qin Dynasty-era model soldiers. Discovered in 1974, the warriors are located to the east of Emperor Qin Shihuang's Tomb, where the man who first unified China is buried.
Among the three pits, No. 1 pit is the largest, containing more than 6,000 clay warriors and horses in 11 three-meter deep corridors. Since their discovery, the warriors have captured the world’s imagination as they have traveled the globe, from England to America to Chile.
The warriors and horses are now back in China, displayed in an oblong battle formation of the Qin Dynasty. Facing east, they look healthy and determined, with different facial expressions that all reflect Emperor Qingshihuang's determination to wipe out the other 6 states and unify the entire country.

Next, you will Transfer to Small Wild Goose Pagoda which is located inside Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of Xi'an city proper. It is one of the two famous and important Buddhist pagodas erected in the Tang Dynasty about 1300 years ago. Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its large neighbor, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, are two important Buddhist sites, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, 1300 years ago.
The two pagodas were a symbol of Chang'an (Constant Peace) city. Xi'an (West Peace) was called Chang'an until the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), when Beijing became the capital of China. Chang'an had served as the capital for ten dynasties.

After lunch, you will Transfer to city wall.You can walking or cycling around the wall, the bike fees you pay locally if you do that.
The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xian is the ancient City Wall, which stretches round the old city. It is also one of the most famous attractions in Xian. Today, this wall represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

There are many boutique stores at fair prices in Bazaar and also a number of excellent choices of food for dinner.

Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, we will have a photo stop here for half an hour. With suggestions from our former guests, it is enough to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda built during the Tang Dynasty was once the site for Xuanzang to translate the Buddhist sutras.

Besides the famous movie-site, other interesting nature objects are also in this area, like Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap and Fairy Mountain.

After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, your splendid Chongqing Wulong karst tour begins with the Three Natural Bridges, the essential scenic feature of this world heritage area. Exquisitely sculptured by the hands of god, the three giant stone arch bridges are real wonders that can't be seen anywhere else in the world. Inside the tranquil scenic area, you can embrace the rugged beauty of the mountain bridges and gorges by meandering along the narrow path on the valley's bottom.
During the 2 - 2.5 hours visit, you will also stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, which was constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for handling official business and receiving guests. The wooden-structured courtyards are still well preserved with more than 20 rooms remaining.
After some free time to wander around, your Wulong trip from Chongqing concludes. You will be transferred back to your hotel. Upon arrival at around 18:30.

Today will be a relaxing day for you. A Yangtze River cruise orientation will be given by the cruise guide after breakfast. This day the Yangtze River Cruise Ship will first enter Qutang Gorge, the beginning passage of the Three Gorges, which is the shortest but the grandest one. Later, we will pass the Wu Gorge with famous lofty and misty peaks on two sides. It is the largest and the longest gorge along the way. This gorge is full of craggy grotesque rocks, and the entire pass looks like a winding natural gallery.

Afterwards, you will disembark at Badong for an excursion to the Shennv Stream, which originates from the south slope of Shennongjia. You will take a pea boat ride drifting along the crystal stream to have a close look at mossy rocks, verdant plants, plank roads, ancient hanging coffins and precious animals. Moreover, the unique songs of the local Tujia people will leave you a deep impression.
After that, you will go back to the ship and continue the cruise to the west section of Xiling Gorge, which is famous for torrential water.

On this full-day tour our guide will meet you at 9:00am of your hotel lobby in Zhangjiajie city central or Wulingyuan hotel then we visit different mountain areas such as Tianzi Mountian, where the world's longest cable car ride carries you to the mountain's peak, and the unique platform-shaped Yuanjiajie Mountain.
There are more than 500 species of wildlife and vegetation in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, including rare monkeys, gingko trees and thousands of colorful birds. The most notable geographic features of the park are its hundreds of towering sandstone pillars. Fans of Hollywood blockbusters will instantly recognize the stunning landscape as the inspiration for the scenery of Pandora in James Cameron’s hit movie Avatar.

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area , lying to the north of Zhangjiajie City, is a charming tourist attraction. It is one of the 40 famous scenic spots in China. It is said to be 'The ampliative miniascape and the contractible fairyland' and was admitted to the 'World Heritage List' in 1992.
The Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area boasts of natural beauty where mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls exist in total harmony. Over 560 attraction sights can be found here. The strangely-shaped peaks, the absurd stones, the hidden valleys, the wonderful waters and the limestone caves form the 'Five Wonders' of Wulingyuan and they are really worth seeing.
Covering an area of 690 square kilometers (266 square miles), Wulingyuan Scenic Area consists of four parts- Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the newly added Yangjiajie Scenic Area.
Today our tour will visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve area.

After the 20 mins cable car ride, we will reach the top of the Tianzi mountain then we will take a shuttle bus again(5 mins driving) to the Tianzi Mountain central area which is provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Beautiful scenes of the mountain greet visitors in different seasons. There are four wonders: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine and the Snow in winter.

After the Yuanjiajie(Avatar mountain), we will take a shuttle(15 mins driving) head to the Bailong Elevator.
Bailong Elevator is very magnificent. The total height of it is 335 meters (1099 feet), of which the running height is 326 meters (1069 feet). 154 meters (505 feet) of the total height is in the mountain wells and the rest of 172 meters (564 feet) was composed of steel derrick and other components. The Elevator includes three exposure sightseeing elevators running parallelly. Each elevator can take 50 passengers every time and the speed is 3 m / s (the speed has been accelerated to 5m / s since 2013). If the three elevators run simultaneously, the amount of one-way passengers will reach 4,000 per hour.

We will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel.
Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates).

Next, we will head to the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge area, but we just see the bridge, there is no time for us to visit the Grand canyon.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, aka Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon skywalk, is the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, hanging over Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Looking from a distance, it looks like a piece of white silk floating between the clouds and fog, hence it is also called Yuntiandu, meaning “a way of clouds to the sky”. Standing on it, if dare to, you can have a bird’s eye view of the Grand Canyon.

It’s the highest spot (1500m) in Zhangjiajie,where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird’s view. and the landscape there is totally different from, meanwhile, at the same level as the ZJJ national Park. Both are world-class scenery, so it’s a must-visit highlight of this city you should not miss. What is more Unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to any type of human being. Just an amazing experience you have never had before.

Day 11: Fenghuang--Sanjiang Chengyang. O/N Chengyang village.
Stop At: Phoenix Ancient Town, Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County 416200 China
Today you will have a full exploration of the Fenghuang Ancient Town. After breakfast, you will take a boat along Tuojiang River, the mother river of the town. The clean river flows slowly along the city walls and you can see water plants swaying in the gentle waves. In addition, the mist sometimes rises from the quiet green water, making it a fairyland. Then you will be guided to Wanming Pagoda on the north bank of the river. The hexagonal pagoda of around 21 meters (69 feet) high has seven layers. There are copper wind bells hanging at each corner of the eaves. Colored paintings and sculptures are also decorated on the body of the pagoda.
After enjoying the elegant pagoda, we will cruise down to the Rainbow Bridge. Looking out of the window on its second floor, you can have a good view of the green hills, blue water, city walls, red slates, and stilted houses. Besides, you can also see several boats moving quietly through the river.

You will conclude our private Fenghuang tour with Tiaotiao Rock, one of the landmarks of the town. After lunch, we will drive you to Sanjiang Chengyang Dong village( 4hrs driving, 315km) and touring in the village.
The Chengyang village is the Dong Village in Sanjiang. Situated at the foot of mountains and surrounded by rivers, Dong Village features well-preserved residential houses and charming natural landscape. In the village, you will see the landmark constructions of Dong village, the Wind and Rain Bridgeand the Drum Tower. Constructed with wood and bricks, the Wind and Rain Bridge blend the styles of bridge, corridor and kiosk into a whole, reflecting the unique Dong style and the wisdom of the Dong people. The bridge was built to provide a shelter for the people who works in fields, but later became a date place for the young people and a famous attraction to visitors at home and abroad. When you see the lofty pointed tower with upturned eaves, you will know that you come to a Dong Village. The Drum Tower is always located in the center of a village, acting as the political and cultural center. Every time when the chief of the village beats the drum on the top floor, villagers will stop their work and get together around the Drum Tower.

Day 12: Chengyang--Longji--Guilin. O/N Guilin.

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 08:30 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Longji terraces in around 90 minutes ride, 100km.

The Longji Rice Terraces stretch layer upon layer from the mountain base to its summit. From the 13th century during the Yuan Dynasty, the local Zhuang people started to construct and use the amazing terraces. Now, the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces cover an area of 66 square kilometers (about 16,308 acres) and span an altitude between 300 meters (about 984 feet) and 1,100 meters (about 3,608 feet). Standing on the mountain, you will be shocked by the patches of fields and curve lines around the mountains. You will then pay a visit to the Villages of Zhuang to experience the unique Chinese ethnic culture.

Day 13: Guilin--Yangshuo. The tour end.

In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 07:45, and then escort you to the Zhujiang pier, where you will start the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo(4 star boat with the buffet lunch).

The boarding time is scheduled at 9:20am, and the whole journey takes about 4 hours. With your guide's company and interpretation, you could immerse yourself in the stunning karst landscape made up of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be offered on board before you reach Yangshuo at 2:00pm.

After disembarkation, you will drive you to see the Yangshuo Xianggong hill.We will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Please inform our guide in advance if you need a walking stick. Lying between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and the Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the greatest viewing platforms in Guilin to take in the glamour of the Li River. The supreme view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend, attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
