Great way to help you around the are. I love the Lake District and his helped you find little gems to may otherwise miss. The guide was clear throughout and the history behind some of the places really made it come alive. If you are thinking of visiting Bowness this is a great way to structure a walk around the town.

I have done these self guided tours before and I like them because we are a little more free to do the walk when we want to, usually working round the weather. The previous ones I’ve done have been loads of fun and we have all usually enjoyed them. Unfortunately this one was total rubbish. It was like a pub crawl, just sending us to pubs and roads near pubs.. my 9 year old doesn’t fancy beers thank you. I know the Lakes well and I could have written a better tour. Avoid!!
