I would like to commend Tess, our tour guide for an excellent experience during our half day tour of the Lakes. With 3 passengers ( Mike, Michelle and Brian), she greeted us professionally and personably upon arrival and struck up an immediate rapport with us which endured throughout the journey. Tess was personable, very knowledgeable of the area and provided appropriate information of the surrounds. She did not inundate us with information but responded politely to any questions we had. I did not envy Tess navigating difficult driving terrain but her calm exterior together with her personable demeanour contributed significantly to an overall excellent experience ! Well done to Tess and the company and I would certainly recommend your service unreservedly to potential customers !

We highly recommend mountain goat tours, we have done numerous tours both group and private hire. Our favourite is the high adventure tour and every driver has an excellent knowledge of the surrounding areas. We have had Mark a couple of times and he is fantastic. He has a welcoming, enthusiastic and entertaining nature and accommodated all of our requests for our private tour. If you are looking for something to do in the lakes, we would urge you to take a trip with them!

Really enjoyed our Ten Lakes Spectacular tour today with Richard. Gained loads of nice info with the commentary. Never felt rushed and yet we covered a lot of ground. Stopped to get out and take photos more often than I expected and the views were great. Tips: I'd suggest sitting on the left if you can, much better views of most of the lakes. Please also consider wearing seatbelts and staying seated: we had more than one tourist who were jumping all over the shop, going up to the front near the door taking pictures out the windscreen and side while the bus was going, holding cameras out in front of people to get pictures from the opposite side of the bus. It was distracting, please don't be that person!

Fabulous full day tour of the Lake District. Our tour guide, Derek, was awesome. Informative and funny, he kept everyone engaged from our 14 year old twins to my 78 year old mother. We would highly recommend Mountain Goat Tours.
