We were a group of 6 people across three generations and went on a Wordsworth - Beatrix Potter tour with pickup from Keswick. Clearly one of our best decisions! Our guide, Dave, was on time and absolutely professional. His length and breadth of knowledge on everything in the Lake District blew us away! It was lovely to hear him recite some of our favorite Wordsworthian verses from memory! It was a truly enriching experience and we highly recommend Dave and the Mountain Goat tours. “ The world is too much with us; late and soon, Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers; Little we see in Nature that is ours; We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!”

Thx to Dave our driver and very knowledgeable Beatrix Potter tour guide for a wonderful afternoon touring so many of the places special to Miss Potter. Definitely worth the money doing the tour privately and happy to recommend Mountain Goat tours and particularly Dave for a great day out.
