This half day tour gives you a fantastic overview of the Lake District in a short amount of time. It’s an ideal way to see amazing landscape associated with this stunning National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As you start your Lake District tour, you will visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, famous for its connection with Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.

You will see incredible scenery as you venture into the heart of the Lake District from Hawkshead, with plenty of photo stops along the way. Visit the Langdale Valley and Blea Tarn, a beautiful body of water.

Mates - done this trip today - wow never been to the lakes prvious and used this trip to see where we wished to go back and have another look. We had a wonderful day! Gerry, our tour guide and driver, was very good in every way. The stories about Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth were really interesting. In general, all the information about the local development ,landscapes and sites was vast. We took really amazing pictures as this part of England is an absolutly treasure. Gerry,our guide was very passionate about the local history and arts and he transmit and share his love for the lakes through the tour. Thank you very much. Great job!!! He is a very good driver too.

We had a wonderful tour with Duncan. He made the region and its history relevant and exciting. We loved the backroads and all the lakes. The boat ride on Lake Windermere was special. Duncan even went out of his way to take us to the train station.
