A fantastic tour which covered the key sights we wanted to see within the limited time we had. David is knowledgeable about the history, friendly, extremely professional and very accommodating. He knew the perfect spots for photography and even gave us recommendations on the best places to dine at. All in all an excellent tour of the spectacularly beautiful Lake District!

We had a fantastic introduction to the Lake District with our Guide, who kept the trip enjoyable throughout. The regions beautiful sites and hidden treasures are put into historical context thanks to David’s deep knowledge of the area. The private tour allowed us to stop longer to pick up delicious Grasmere gingerbread treats, and take photos at some of the best viewing spots around. I highly reccomend him, the service received was first class.

Our tour was amazing. We were picked up from our hotel on time. We travelled with a 3 old kid and David was able to accommodate all our needs with the little boy. During our tour, David was attentive, personable and professional at all times and happy to adapt to the situations He was knowledgeable about the area and provided interesting bits of info as we went along. There were snacks and water provided to us as well. We really enjoyed the tour and we will surely be taking a full day tour next time. What a fantastic 5 star Lake District experience!! It was my 50th birthday and a lovely way to celebrate it. David has such a vast knowledge of the area and the history, which makes this a must do when visiting the Lake District. We will definitely book another tour with David when we next visit.
