Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.

Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

this is my fourth time fishing on the blue Heron at Riviera Beach. I had a great time fishing on Sunday morning caught a nice big yellow tail and we got into a hot fight of banded rudder fish , were here this time of year as we drifted north onto that special spot. What a blast !! my arms are so sore from fighting fish that morning. Had a great overall experience the captain the mates always a class act. They really take care of you so that’s why I keep coming back. Keep up the good work !!!

Always a good time. We always catch fish and enjoy the comraderie of the deck hands and the regulars. Great variety of fish are caught. Good experience especially for the money.

The Mates did an excellent job and were in good spirits. My daughter caught a 40” King Mackerel. We were fishing within a half hour of leaving the dock.
