After enjoy breathing scenery. We will make your way down to mountain and head to "Black Lava". This beauty landscape was created by a volcanic eruption in 1963 and is filled with unique rock formations and black sand, here you can capture more photos and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This was a very nice and organized trip. Unfortunately it was a cloudy and rainy morning hence couldn’t really get a food sunrise view but nevertheless enjoyed the time out there at the mountain followed by the lava rock site and hot springs. Ayung and Bressi, our mountain drivers did an amazing job and took great pictures! All in all it was a great experience!

My wife and I joined the Mount Batur 4WD Jeep Tour. Our driver, Ari, greeted us warmly and was incredibly hospitable. He shared a wealth of information about Balinese culture and our planned itinerary. Our jeep driver, Jeiy, was also exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed right on schedule. Jeiy captured stunning photos and cinematic videos of us before and during sunrise at Mount Batur and provided insights about the mountain's breathtaking views. The entire team was incredibly friendly, making this tour highly recommended! We'd rate it 10 stars out of 5! 🙏⭐️

Everything went smoothly with Arta picking us up on time from our guesthouse in Ubud and made sure we got to the start of the jeep tour on time. Made then drove us safely up the mountain and got us a good viewing spot for sunrise and for the lava fields, he also helped us to take some nice pictures we wouldn't otherwise have been able to do ourselves. We really enjoyed the rest of the tour to the hot springs and the coffee plantation. We appreciate also that Arta took us all the way to our next hotel in Nusa Dua, thank you!

This experience was absolutely amazing! Our driver picked us up from our hotel right on time, and drove us to the base of the mountain where we transferred to our jeep driver (take a gravol if you get carsick - the road is very windy and there is a lot of stopping / speeding up). There are bathrooms in the parking lot, but beware: there is no toilet paper and you’re supposed to pay 3,000 to use it. Our Jeep driver was Widi (ask for him if you can!), and my partner and I had the Jeep to ourselves so we were lucky! We got up to the “sunrise point”, and Widi went to get us some hot drinks (choice of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate). After that, he went and made us breakfast (banana sandwiches, bananas, and hard-boiled eggs). This is where it gets good!! We were technically already at the sunrise point, but Widi insisted we could go to a better and higher point. He was the only driver willing to go up there (a little steep, but he knows what he’s doing). Once we were up there, we waited for the sun to ride. We were surprised that Widi had a bunch of poses for us to do on the lookout deck and on the Jeep, and he took a few cinematic videos of us! He got some amazing photos for us that we will treasure forever! After that, we drove to the black lava formations and walked around a little. Then, Widi took us back to the parking lot and our shuttle driver took over. We drove to the hot springs, where we got towels, a welcome drink, and a locker rental. We were able to spend about 1.5 hours there. After that, we went to a coffee plantation, and we were shown different kinds of beans / plants to flavour teas. We were surprised that we got a sampling flight of 14 teas and coffees to try! We also opted to spend 50k to try a special kind of coffee (very good)! After that, it was time to go back to our hotels (our shuttle was shared with another couple). Our shuttle driver was very nice and asked if we wanted to stop at a Balinese restaurant for lunch, which was great because we were all very hungry! After lunch, we got back to our hotels. All in all, I think the trip was around 11-12 hours long. This is so worth the money! Also: there are merchants that come up to you on two parts of the trip (bracelets at the mountain, and black sand art at the black lava location) All in all: book this tour!!!
