Overview

Once we pick you up from your Bali hotel, we head to Lempuyang temple, better known as Heaven's Gate; one of the most iconic and beautiful temples in Indonesia.  From that mesmerizing experience, on to Tirta Gangga temple, known as the Royal Water Garden, named after the sacred river Ganges in India and formerly a royal palace; with tiered fountains, beautiful gardens and concrete creatures spouting water into bathings pools where you can pray, this temple is one of a kind!  Then to Besakih temple, Bali's Mother temple, nestled on the slopes of Mt. Agung, this temple is the most important, largest and considered the holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali. More like a complex, sitting at approximately 12 sq. km, this place will not disappoint!  Traditional Balinese lunch and a quick stop at a coffee plantation for tour and tasting also included.

2% of each tour goes towards an environmental action initiative to help create positive environmental change and a more sustainable Earth.

The temples themselves were obviously amazing but lots of time spent travelling and waiting for a turn to get a photo at Heavens Gate. The driver was very quiet but showed us around the Royal Water Garden and took some photos of us together, which we appreciated. the other guy with him spoke english exceptionally well did most of the talking. Lunch was awful. Flies everywhere, all over the food, and both our dishes were inedible (mine and my daughter's)
