I required an amendment to my hotel-airport transportation, and Mauricio Márquez at the Nexus Adventures of Royalton Riviera Resort accomplished this in an extremely helpful and efficient manner! He made the experience stress free and comfortable and I would seek him out for any other transportation needs.

Brutal service. Took 2 hours and a ton of haggling and fighting with the Nexus reps at the airport to even find us our transport which was included with WestJet vacation. As soon as we started screaming then they magically found us a van to go on 2 hours after grabbing our bags. 2.5 hours after landing. Transfer then stopped at 5 places before ours. Just take the EDO bus or a taxi.

We almost missed the tours, flights, etc. due to vans having to make multiple stops picking up other passengers from other resorts and the vans arrived late every time. We were there 40 min ahead of the van leaving to be safe and still we were waiting. I don't feel like the transfers should be picking up so many people from different locations to meet the same deadline. We had to rush to get to each drop off point, it made for a very stressful time. Then we were put on the wrong vans, sitting and waiting for over an hr. just to leave. Finally, a person in the group went and told the drivers and they ended up moving us to another bus. My recommendation is to pay for a private transfer.

Arrived at Cancun by Westjet on March 10. We were happy to get through customs and collect luggage and be outside in 45 minutes. We figure as normal, we speak to a rep, get on a bus or van, and be on our way in 15 minutes. Apparently not. We looked for Nexus Rep but could not find. Then we saw him surround by 20 people checking in. Slowly more reps showed up over next 15 minutes. We checked in and were told to wait. We waited and waited. No vans, no buses. An hour goes by, no one is telling us what is going on. About 100+ guests waiting began to ask including myself. We were told they were waiting to more people? How can that be. Well, seems they were waiting for 3 or 4 Westjet flights. Waiting for checks ins, then calculating how many vans they need. Problem is people were leaving. Taxis drivers had a good day picking off people frustrated by standing in heat. Still no vans in sight. Then slowly a rep would come over and begin calling out names. Well, it's outside and a big crowd. Hard to hear. Names not pronounced well. Finally after we were outside for 1.25 hours our name is called. We are squeezed into a white no name van. Waiting for more people again. Our hotel is an hour away. There were at least 4 stops at different hotels as we talked to people. Our hotel was second. Seems the Reps once they figured they had all the check ins, they were then organizing vans based on check ins, not based on reservations. This is an included paid for service. It is include in our Westjet fee. Were they waiting for people to leave to use less vans? I registered on the App but didn't matter. NEXUS clearly working the system to gain. Zero customer service. Westjet needs to get control of this.
