Lawrence was a great guide, very knowledgeable about Stonehenge and the area, following the latest research. We saw so much and heard interesting history. We also much appreciated the flexibility in the itinerary that included everything we wanted in only about half a day.

This was an amazing tour. Worth every penny! Laurence our guide was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about history and archeology. His explanations made the stones and ditches come alive. We could really appreciate how sophisticated humans were thousands of years ago. Very humbling! Highly recommend doing this private tour with Laurence!

Lawrence was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. He also went the extra mile and took us back on a different route , so we could see more of the local countryside and villages

Laurence was an excellent guide of Stonehenge and Avebury. The tour was just our style. He knew the history and explained theories and gave opinions of these amazing sites. He picked us up and dropped us off at the Swindon bus station, prioritizing our schedule. We had a fabulous day.

We would like to say how much we enjoyed the very informative and interesting tour of the Avebury site today. Laurence's knowledge and the way he shared the information gave us a fascinating insight into the prehistoric sites. His own passion for archaeology is clearly evident and this contributed to a very enjoyable time for us. Thanks again. Wendy and Nigel.
