As China’s biggest and the world’s most populated city, Shanghai is alive with an energy quite unlike any other municipality in the Middle Kingdom. This one-day tour starts with the peaceful Zhujiajiao ancient water town on the outskirts of Shanghai. After lunch, you will continue to visit the beautiful Yuyuan Garden in the center of Shanghai. To wrap up the day, you'll take a stroll along the riverside promenade of the Bund. The Bund side of the river is lined with European-style buildings that have been standing for over a hundred years. Across the river you'll catch amazing views of Shanghai's iconic skyline made up of ultra-modern skyscrapers, the perfect conclusion to a whirlwind tour of this booming metropolis.

This tour introduce you with the most impressive sightseeing of the city. Our Tour guide, Ocean showed an impressive knowledge of its history and new life style. At the end of the tour, we were communicated that we have to cancel an extra payment for transportation. We did , but for me, I was surprise because the tour was setted up one month in advance and our hotel location was communicated during the booking time. In the future, it should be coordinated better.

We used The China Guide for three private experiences: Great Wall and Ming Tombs, Beijing Zoo/T Square/Forbidden City/Hutongs, Zhujiajiao and Shanghai Tour. Our representative Mia was great, she was very responsive via email and WeChat, she's very professional. Our guides, Albert, Cindy and Melody were amazing. I'll use this service again as I explore more of China.
