Upon arrival at base camp, get a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. Before and after your hike up to the summit 1,5 hours, you can relax in our the Mt. Batur base camp lounge, the only one base camp around the area with clean and comfortable toilet facility.

What a great way to experience the beauty of Bali! Getting up a 1am was not ideal but it was so well worth it. The guides were so kind and helpful with the rocky terrain. The climb was advanced but not too long, about 1 hour 15 to get up to the summit. The glorious sunset on the mountain over the water was brilliant. Best tour of Bali!

Wonderful experience. From the pick-up at our hotel to the hike itself, I would fully recommend this to anyone. The weather was not on our side so the sunrise wasn't in all it's glory, but the views from the top still well worth it. Our guide was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the hike and Batur. He ensured we were ok throughout as the route can be tricky, particularly on the way down. You are given a breakfast and hot drinks just before you reach the summit. I am just sorry I have forgotten our guide's name, so I can't feedback on him directly. You definitely need a suitable hiking boot or sturdy trainer as well as a long sleeved top as it can get cold when you stop. One slight issue was it did start to get quite crowded at the top so we decided to start the hike back down a little sooner. We were then taken back by our driver, who opted for a scenic route to our hotel through all the rice fields. Absolutely stunning.

Awesome experience and our tour guide Putu helped assist us getting up the mountain on time for sunrise. He carried my backpack and always checked if we needed a break and if the pace was ok. He was helpful with taking many photos and very patient. Would recommend this tour but it’s not an easy climb.

The batur experience was one of the highlight of Bali! So worth waking up at 2am to do the sunrise hike. The driver was very prompt and on time and was very accommodating throughout the whole day. He let us leave our heavy stuff in the car while hiking and took us around to the hot springs and the coffee plantation after the hike. He was very patient. Highly recommended!
