RIKO, our driver and guide, is a really nice person and guide! You can talk with him a lot and enjoy the trip to the cooking class. The cooking class with MADE is also worth it. You visit first a local traditional market and learn and see about local ingredients and locals doing there daily live in the morning. During cooking class Made is flexible to consider allergies or preferation like only vegetarian etc. We made a variety of main dishes like sate, curry, grilled fish and tofu in banana leafes and also a soup and dessert and salad. It was great and a rich menu! After that RIKO showed us nice places around Ubud and Tegelalang, like monkey forest, rice terrace. He explained a lot. He was also really kind when he suggested options we may want to use e.g. To have a better view or to see some additional places. If there were additional cost like entrance fee etc. he told us before so that we are not like shocked in the end. And if there were additional costs they were reasonable like buying 1 or 2 juice to have a better view to a rice terrace from a Restaurant which was also nice place to relax there. With him you have an honest and really nice person and guide. He also filmed us during whole day everything what we did and send us all the videos and picture and also made a 1,5 min edited Video for us. Just one day after he send us the edited video and it is a nice way to enjoy during the trip and have someone collecting the moments and making you a video for remembering the enjoyfull day.

Me and my husband had the most amazing day guided by Toni! The traditional market was so colourful & loved seeing the locals, the cooking class was amazing - so much variety in dishes each carefully explained and guided with a delicious feast & recipes to take home! Continued with a stunning trip to rice terrace & monkey forest where Toni was amazing helping us take the best photos for memories. Highly reccommend this tour

Amazing and insightful cooking class - all went perfectly. Madi was an excellent host. Interesting to be shown round a Balinese market. Toni the driver was amazing all day, gave great information throughout and stopped to show us true balinese coffee, acted as a superb photographer as well!

Wonderful experienced friendly and caring driver Toni looked after us exceptionally well. We got picked up on time, Toni constantly communicated with us and make sure we have everything we wanted. Lots of praise for him and the cooking school, I didn’t believe how much we cooked and it all tasted great. Credit to the chefs (us) recommend this tour to anybody staying in Ubud, it also covered the fresh food market, Rice Terraces, swing over the rice fields and the monkey forest. Everything was very enjoyable and we had a great day. p.s. Toni is a good photographer too 🤩

We had such a lovely experience on Thursday 27th of feb! We were picked up by an on time driver (which is not very common) who communicated our pickup time the night before (on whatsapp), and taken to ubud. His name was Darma (more about him (later) We met up with the cooking class group and went through a food market, learning about different foods and what they were used for. The our driver took us to the actually cooking class location. It was in an outdoor kitchen in a flat rice field! We started with learning how to make the offering boxes and how to fill them with flowers, which is a daily ritual in Bali. The organisation and execution of the class is one to be proud of! Never once was anyone confused or waiting. One task complete and next one began. Everyone got a go at everything, we all worked together And no cleaning dishes (thank goodness ahaha). Then we got to all sit together an have a lovely meal of the food we just made (with a free bottle of cold water)!!! It was delicious and even more special, we made it ourselves! Next the cooking class ended but our fun was not over. Our driver Darma, took us to the tegallalang rice terrace and showed us around. He dropped us out the front, paid entry and then went and parked the car. Darma allowed us to stay as long as we wanted (which to be honest was just long enough to go from one end to the next because it was very hot!). Darma then moved us into shade, bought as both cold bottled water and then went and got the car. Next stop was the monkey Forrest. Darma again bought our entry and parked the car. When he caught up with us he was explaining the monkeys. It was super helpful because a lot of the time you don’t understand the dynamics of the forest. He also visits the forest a lot so the monkeys are comfortable with him. The monkeys are too cute and it’s definitely worth a visit. We then went home and Darma had a lovely conversation on the way home! Again I couldn’t stress enough how much we appreciate our driver and that he should get more work! Thanks again Darma!
