My plane was scheduled to arrive in Bali at 7:50am. I wanted to be sure the driver doesn't wait for me at the airport too long. So I booked the transfer for 8:30am to have more time to go through customs and get my bag, and I also provided the driver with my flight number, so they could track it when I arrive. I was at the pick-up point exactly at 8:28am, but the driver was nowhere to be found. After waiting for few minutes I logged in to La Vacanza Travel and I messaged the operator - no response. After few more minutes, I called their phone number and I've been told the driver is on their way to the airport, there's a lot of traffic and he will be there shortly. A bit frustrating, but ok - I will wait. Shortly after, the driver called me directly saying he is on his way to the airport, but I could clearly hear the echo on the other side meaning he was not in a car, but in a room, and was just leaving to pick me up. They clearly forgot about my booking... Long story short, the driver finally showed up around 45 minutes later. There was no sign with my name on it, so I had to guess which driver was calling me. After that experience, I thought I will request a refund for 50% of the cost. After all, I made it to Ubud, it's just that the process was a nightmare. Shortly after, the operator called me back, and told me that on that day it was the driver that was waiting at the airport FOR ME, and as I didn't show up on time, he had to leave the airport and drive back in. When I repeatedly said that it's not what happened, he said "anyway, I cancelled your refund request because you made it from the airport to Ubud" and hung up... It's literally the one and only time I had a bad experience with anything in Bali. I would not recommend.
