First off, our guide was amazing. None of this was his fault. But this tour was an absolute disaster. There was an absolute sea of humanity in the museum and Sistine Chapel. Clearly way, way too many tickets have been sold. You can barely move except to get swept along with the crowd, there absolutely should be a limit on how many tickets each day the Vatican sells. It was almost impossible to appreciate any of it. Our tour guide was good and knowledgeable and tried very hard but there was nothing he could do to overcome this extreme crowding. I cannot recommend this tour.
I want to give 5 stars to the Vatican itself as an "attraction ". It's very interesting from many points of view, of course. I also would like to give another 5 stars to the guide. She was extremely professional. But visiting Vatican in 3 hours means running through long corridors, passing by magnificent pieces of art in secons, struggling with thousands of others and so makes it a little less than a perfect experience. When visiting Vatican, do your homework and take a lot of time, that's my best advice.
Great tour, skip the line tickets are must! Very knowledgeable guide. Very detailed and went extra mile and time to tell us and show us as much as possible.
Looking at tapestry on walls and art work was interesting and impressive. It’s incredible , the talent of these artist.
It was all amazing . So cool. Spectacular. I would recommend it to everyone. It would be good if the ear pieces could change to different languages. Bonjorno
