We had a great tour. Roland was our guide and bus driver and was very personable and friendly. When I booked this tour I thought that the bus was just a means to an end to get to and from the boat tour. However, Roland ensured that the bus trip was a second standalone tour. I'm glad we booked this small group tour instead of one of the larger coach tours. It is a 6 hour drive to Milford, 2 hours on the boat and 4 hours drive back to Queenstown. The longer morning drive is because there are many stops at lookouts and other touristy spots. Due to the friendly nature of the small group, the comfort of the 16 seater Mercedes bus and the stunning scenery, it honestly did not feel like an all day trip. The boat tour was larger as it was a combination of the three Altitude Tour's buses. So I suppose about 48 passengers. The boat tour was great as well with all the usual commentary you would expect. It goes all the way out to the sea entrance where we saw a pod of dolphins that followed us around for the rest of the tour. We also saw stunning waterfalls, penguins and seals. Absolutely worth every cent.

What a lovey day and a lovely weather. The whole experience was superb. Love our guide Erik, the whole 13 hrs experience will not be perfect without him. He was so energetic till the end. Our last bonus stop was lovely too👍👍👍. And don’t forget to go to the fish and chip shop he recommends.🙌🙌🙌

Comfortable transport, picked up from hotel & great welcome! Erik & Chelsea were super hosts. This is a long day tour but they made it as good as possible. Nothing was too much trouble, plenty of comfort breaks led by passenger’s needs. The cruise itself was so worthwhile helped by the great weather. If you’re in Queenstown this is a super way to experience Milford Sound & the scenic roads on the way. Thank you again Erik & Chelsea.

This trip was fantastic. Do our guide was wonderful. For a long day, it definitely didn't feel like it. Was very comfortable on the bus and Do's guidance was very informative and fun. Loved the boat trip, perfect day and perfect sized boat. The movies on the way home were great. Thanks again Do. Nicaly and family.
