This whole tour goes for 2 ¼ hours. It takes 15 minutes to get out there on a fast, fun speed boat with maximum of 14 people. You then snorkel for an hour and a half at our exclusive mooring located at Low Isles reef, one of just a few exclusive permits allowed to enter this WORLD HERITAGE green zone sensitive site. Then a 15 minute trip home.

The reef that we visit on Option A is very protected and has a vast quantity of quality corals and abundant fish species, with green turtles swimming nearby in the clear Coral Sea. On this tour you don’t go onto the island, you snorkel from the back of the boat. We own two exclusive permits right on the reef edge that allows just our 2 Reef Sprinter boats to visit this reef meaning there are no crowds at all!

See spectacular corals, turtles, and fish life only 15 minutes from Port Douglas and you won’t get seasick.

  • Warning!! We are advising you that the Low Isles Reef site has suffered damage from Cyclone Jasper on 13/12/23. The accompanying flooding has caused fresh water bleaching. There are still lots of fish and probably turtles to see.

Great day out, half day trip, snorkelling - not too long. The boat trip was exciting and fun, staff were excellent 👍 the weather was great and it really does make the whole experience better if it’s a sunny day ☀️ We had stinger suits on and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic Highly recommend- this company and mode of travel if you can as you get there really really quickly, our group was a mixture of all ages and it was such a great experience

We went on the reef sprinter lagoon trip on the Low isles during the school holidays around easter. We were given the stinger suits in the office at the harbour, and then went out on the boat. The boat ride is fun, but it is quite rough launching over the waves so keep that in mind if that's not your thing. The time went quite fast snorkelling, where you are more or less left to your own devices. It was a great morning out albeit quite expensive, but probably a good way to see some of the reef if you are short on time, but I can't help but feel there's more to see out there.

Family friendly snorkelling experience ! Lovely staff, boat was super speedy, all equipment provided was exceptional We took our 5 year old and 7 year old and they loved it (use a life jacket and pool noodle to keep them out there longer!)

We did Option B, Island and Lagoon Tour. This is our second time doing this is less than a year. The marine life is amazing and this tour suits experienced and beginner snorkelers. We lost count of how many Turtles we saw on this trip. The guides were wonderful, a credit to this company. As someone who gets motion sickness, this is the only way to enjoy the reef. We will be back for a 3rd time as soon as we can.

A great experience. Very organized and we highly recommend this company. I have MS, and must be in a scooter, and it was no problem leaving my scooter in their office which I really appreciated.. I thank them so very much!!
