Itinerary
The activity will start with a health & safety briefing plus a tutorial on how the e-bikes work. You will then grab a helmet and head off with our experienced guide to explore. Our hire bikes are so much fun you won’t be able to stop smiling. As soon as you feel the bike doing the hard work you’ll realise this activity has to be the best way to explore the area.
You will cycle to the following points of interest:
Poole Museum and Scaplen's Court Museum and Herb Garden which is a free attraction to visit and you will learn more about the history of Poole and the harbour.
We also stop at the Baden Powell Statue, who is the founder of the scouts with beautiful views of Brownsea Island. From there we will make our way to Poole Old Lifeboat Museum , the museum is housed in the boathouse where Poole lifeboat station was based from 1882 to 1974. We will then cycle to Upton Park stopping at Upton House to admire the beautiful botanical garden and the 6 different types of natural habitats that it has to offer, you will also have the option to do brunch here.We will then head to Wimborne Minster Church, which is the burial ground of King Aethelred of Wessex and then head back.
