Your tour is designed especially for cruise ship passengers arriving in Picton with times to fit the ship schedule 5-6 hours

With wine in mind you will be enjoying the fun of fellow travellers, vineyard views & vines, wines for your senses and the stories that will make your day with Discovery Wine Tours the highlight of your Marlborough experience.
Your Discovery Wine Tour Marlborough will start from the Picton I-Site where your Cruise Ship Shuttle will drop you off.
Travelling from Picton to the Wairau Valley you will enjoy some spectacular views and hopefully we'll be able to stop for a photo view of your Cruise Ship.
Time designated for your tour is approx. 5-6 hours depending on the ships schedule.
Visiting up to 5 appointment only Cellar Doors including a lunch/platter stop (lunch/platter cost at guests care on the day).
You will be returned to the Picton I-Site to meet your cruise ship shuttle .

Toni was a great guide, her friendship and knowledge with the vintors made the tour great! We had a great experience meeting Howard and Julie at Gibson Bridge Vineyard.

Toni looked after us with 3 winery visits , plenty of time for a relaxed lunch & very generous tastings promptly organised. Great commentary & wonderful views along the way . Lucky to have only a group of 4 , so certainly no complaints - would highly recommend & great value compared to onboard cruise excursions

We had a fantastic day out with Toni and Discovery Wine Tours (formerly Na Clachan Wine Tours). We were picked up from the cruise shuttle drop-off point as expected. First stop was Saint Clair winery for a lovely lunch on their patio. Then we visited four other wineries. At each stop, the winery was expecting us and a table was set aside for the small group. The tastings were handled efficiently and professionally by friendly staff at each winery. We learned a lot about the local wine industry in the Marlborough region from Toni, and she made everyone feel welcome, whether they were wine connoisseurs or newbies. This was really a relaxed and enjoyable day and we were happy to be in Toni's hands for this outing. Van was clean and comfortable, and it was easy to hear Toni's commentary, even for those of us sitting in the very back seat. Highly recommended!

We visited five wineries and enjoyed many of the wines of New Zealand. The region around Picton is beautiful and all of the wineries were welcoming and friendly. I would go again.

We had a great experience with Fiscovery Wine Tours! Toni was our guide and she was such fun. Very accommodating to special requests and made sure we were on time but never felt rushed. We went to 5 tastings and had a variety of wines. Lunch was also delicious at St Clair Winery. Fun group, great guide and all around wonderful day.
