The palace and gardens are breathtaking. Our guide was nice, but not as knowledgeable as one would hope. Did not expect to arrive and then wait another 40 minutes for others to join us.

We loved this tour. They make it very easy to get on the train and meet your tour guide in Versailles. Our guide, Sylvanie, was the best! She is very knowledgeable on history of the Palace and grounds. Rather than touring the palace first, we were happy Sylvanie decided to take us on the garden tour first to experience it with the fountains running since they are only on for a limited time each day. The lunch portion was a 3 course meal, which was very good. We also did the afternoon tour of Marie Antoinette’s hamlet - Sylvanie was very knowledgeable and passionate on Marie Antoinette, which we enjoyed learning about. We would highly recommend!
