What an amazing day we had under the competent and informative guidance of Frederic! He was very punctual with our hotel pickup and despite it being a rainy Parisian day, he made our tour very memorable. Not only did we have a private tour of Versailles, we also had a wonderful view of the fountains of Versailles, a walk through some of the gardens (our choice to cut short considering the rain), the Petit Trianon and the Queen's Hamlet. Frederic even recommended a delightful restaurant for lunch. His command of the English language is excellent and he is well-versed on the history of France. We highly recommend Frederic as a guide and given the opportunity would eagerly engage his services again. Thank you Frederic, for a wonderful day!

Fredrick was our wonderful guide for an all day tour to the vast property of Versailles. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His knowledge of all the ins and outs of this huge property was very interesting and amazing. We had such a great time at the main building that we decided to stay to tour the summer residences and gardens that were spectacular in their beauty and size. We would not hesitate to recommend Fredrick and Best of France tours. Also, they provided timely and reasonable ground transport to/from the airport and train station.

What a great tour we had! My daughter and I spent a full day at Versailles with Frederic as our guide. Everything was so relaxed and ethereal. Frederic is not just a knowledgeable guide but a wonderful person. We advise taking the private tour for the day so that you don’t have any problems with other passengers. BEST tour we took on our 30 day jaunt. Thanks again Frederic.

We used Best of France tours for a private guided tour of Versailles. We had originally booked through La Vacanza Travel but then we discussed adding a tour of the private apartments with Philippe. Organizing this added feature to our tour was flawless and quick thanks to him. We only had a limited amount of time in Paris so we booked our daylong tour to occur 2 hours after our arrival from our overnight redeye flight. Our guide Frederic was waiting for us at our hotel and as soon as we started talking to him I completely forgot about our jetlag and severe lack of sleep. We had a pleasant ride to Versailles and quickly got inside the palace ahead of the larger lines. We noticed other tour guides had issues validating their tour tickets and getting inside but our guide got us in very quickly. Frederic is an absolutely amazing tour guide. His intelligence and breadth of knowledge was astounding. He shared general knowledge with us but what I really enjoyed was his awareness of the more of the uncommon bits of history and lore. He speaks English fantastically, knew how to get us in the right rooms at the right times ahead of the crowds, and was very in-depth with his art history. He showed us the famous parts of the palace like the Hall of Mirrors, but spent just as much time showing us the intricate gold leaf designs on the ceilings and how each art theme of every room was unique. He also gave us a tour of the gardens, fountains, and the Petite Trianon. We literally saw every single thing we wanted to see with our limited amount of time. Our tour of the private apartments was especially thrilling. We got to go inside the chapel and inside the opera house and explore the rooms on our own away from the crowds of selfie-sticks and noise. Frederic made a 9 hour tour fly by. I thought I would have trouble staying alert with my jetlag but that was never an issue. In all honesty, he is one of the greatest tour guides I have ever had and I have travelled the world. We truly enjoyed it and had so much fun. I wished we had booked him for our other day of touring. When we return to France we will definitely book with Frederic and Best of France tours again. Best of France Tours est venu nous chercher à l'hôtel en mini-bus. Delphine, notre guide (un amour !) nous a pris en charge pour une journée complète au Château de Versailles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le professionnalisme de Delphine, sa bienveillance et son adaptation .... au climat ! La journée était parfaite ! Ce n'est pas toujours facile de satisfaire 14 personnes de 7 à 82 ans !!!
