After a short one-and-a-half-hour ride from Paris, you’ll find yourself in this quaint little village in Normandy, where you’ll visit Monet’s exquisite house and gardens. Your art historian guide will animate your tour around the flowerbeds that proved a source of inspiration for Monet, past the water lily pond made famous in the Nymphéas series and across the Japanese bridge that pops up so often in his work. Then you’ll explore Monet’s house, almost untouched by the passage of time.

After about a 1h30 min trip through the verdant countryside, you will arrive in Giverny.

Expect a feast for your eyes on this half-day tour to Claude Monet’s home in Giverny. You’ll alight at Monet’s property and extensive gardens, where he indulged in his green-fingered passion.

Stop At: Fondation Claude Monet, 84 Rue Claude Monet, 27620 Giverny France

First, you’ll visit the front gardens and orchards with your expert guide, to gaze upon an array of vivid blooms (depending on the season). Next, you’ll be enthralled to see the legendary water lily pond in real life and cross the oft-painted Japanese bridge.

If you love impressionism, you must visit Monet’s home at Giverny. Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. She truly enrich the entire journey. It was a fantastic tour.

The guided tour is a great way to experience Monet’s garden. Alex is very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. So delighted that we chose the tour to visit the gardens than doing it ourselves.

The tour itself was great, Monets garden and house were very beautiful, the tour guide was goood. BUT, the tour organiser was horrible. 1) The bus SMELT LIKE SULPHUR DIOXIDE (SEWAGE) 2) Befote the way back the bus broke down before we leave, they made us wait for 45 minutes without knowing what's going to happen. Then they said that the bus can not be fixed and they need to send another bus to take us back. But the bus will need ANOTHER 2 HOURS TO ARRIVE!!!! We had to book an uber and pay an extra €150 on our own expense to go back to Paris for an hour trip!!! Very very horrible experience.

Great tour to Giverny -Monet’s house and Garden . Good tour if you wish for a hassle free journey and Alex was an exemplary guide -Professional ,knowledgable and supportive of all on the tour . Garden very busy -mid April but Tulip borders sublime .
