The most memorable part was the crowds, the lack of bathrooms deep inside the museum, and the awful “sortie” that took forever through the shopping mall! My first visit was in 1976. It is way too crowded and commercial now! Not worth it unless you are a hardcore art connoisseur!

This is only an entry ticket but since we couldn’t get one on the louvre website for the day we wanted it was great. I highly recommend you take the metro to the louvre as it lets you off underground ar some shops and right at the entry line without ever going outside.

I am pleased. We were forewarned about the line issue. We decided not to go with a tour guide and went on our own. The overall line management was well done and we were waiting for about an hour and a half. Once inside the museum is beyond pleasant in most of the exhibits.. We did not go there specifically for the Mona Lisa, which is where most of the crowds were. this is definitely one of the most favorite aspects of Paris. We enjoy.

The tickets, even though more expensive than on the official Louvre website, are real and good (you will receive the actual tickets later on whatsapp and/or email). Especially a good solution when you cannot find a timeslot on the official website but are already in Paris. Just a warning: for us it took some time to receive the tickets (~13 hours) even though it was less than 24h to the entry time. Perhaps that was because we made the purchase in the evening (and the tickets arrived only next morning). So, if you plan to buy in the evening and the tickets are for an early morning entrance, perhaps you need to call the tickets provider if the tickets are late (there is a phone number in the confirmation email from La Vacanza Travel).
