Rendez vous at “Bateaux Parisiens” / Port de la Bourdonnais just next to the Eiffel Tower to board the Parisian boats for a cruise on the Seine River. Unwind while contemplating the history of Paris and admire its many monuments such as the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the many bridges with their unique architecture. The audio guide of the boat is available in 14 languages. You can also listen to them from an application on your smartphone. Your tickets will be sent to you by mail.

My family and friends were eagerly looking forward to the Seine River Cruise with Crepe Tasting, an adventure we hoped would add a special touch to our Paris visit. Based on glowing recommendations, we chose La Vacanza Travel for this experience, expecting seamless service and unforgettable memories. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations in several ways, leading to a fair share of disappointment. Firstly, the booking process appeared smooth, and we were charged for 7 adult tickets (4 adults and 3 aged 12-14) and 1 child (aged 11). However, we were only issued a ticket for the child, which led to confusion and delays at the boarding point. Despite our efforts to resolve this with staff at boarding, the response was less than satisfactory, causing unnecessary stress and delay. The cruise itself offered stunning views of Paris from the Seine, a perspective of the city that was indeed breathtaking. The staff on the boat were friendly. However, the highlight of our trip, the much-anticipated crepe tasting and making experience, turned out to be a letdown. After the cruise, we were informed that the crepe making facility was no longer available, a detail that was neither communicated beforehand nor reflected in the activity description at the time of booking. Considering the premium price paid for this experience, the lack of communication and failure to deliver on a key component of the excursion was particularly disappointing. While I understand that changes to services and offerings can occur, timely and clear communication from La Vacanza Travel would have allowed us to adjust our expectations or explore alternative experiences.

The boats couldn’t go out because the water was too high. They canceled the whole weekend of cruises and no one let us know. We were being contacted with reminders and to choose our pick up location and when we showed up the boats hadn’t gone all weekend. La Vacanza Travel has refused to refund our money. Boats not being able to go out is no one’s fault but not providing a refund is terrible and someone could have let us know so we didn’t go there. Will not use La Vacanza Travel again. Book direct with tour company as they were giving refunds.

The Seine River tour for Friday April 5th was canceled because high water levels and flooding. We were unable to take this trip while we were in Paris. You probably have had numerous cancellations on this date and over the weekend as well. Will you please make a refund for this trip that was not able to go. Other trips in Paris that we booked were terrific.

When we got there, we waited for over 30 minutes in the line even though the boat was there, not sure if they had trouble with disembarking for some reason on the previous boat. We had already walked along the river, and had seen quite a few of the sites, so if you’ve already walked along the river to the North of the Eiffel Tower probably not worth your time. Plus you really can’t see much. It is a nice ride and they try to give us some educational information. Both our teens fell asleep. Also, the lower level toilets reeked terribly which prevented me from even considering going. If it was a nicer day I would’ve definitely sat up top but because it was a little cold and rainy we stayed inside which also Took away from the view.. Also, Notre Dame was under construction, so could not see that much either. The best view was the castle next to Notre Dame. I probably would’ve spent my time doing something else had I known better The crêpe was average to above average.

We couldn't find the crape vendor even after looking it up via GPS and asking the ticket vendor if the river cruise. We then texted La Vacanza Travel and asked for the crape portion to be refunded since we spent a hour looking for the crape vendor. They refused to give us any money back. Waited 2 hours to get on a packed boat will never book w this company again
