Our guide Tess is very knowledgeable about the history of France. She also shared interesting stories that I wouldn’t have learned of any other way. The tour was very easy to follow, she took her time at different locations. We got to see a lot of things and had a 30 minute break in between. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Tess to travelers.

Our guide was very lovely and very wise on his history and locations of rich and famous, we where guided through the back streets of Paris. We stopped at a square where students hang out-for a hour hour which I found completely unnecessary hence the three stars

I have registered for dozens of La Vacanza Travel tours for myself and recommended this company to more friends than I can count. They have all be outstanding. Without exception. Until this one. That was scheduled to happen on a day of torrential rain. I reached out a day in advance, because I was unwell and saw the forecast, and got the impression they would be reasonable, understanding that Paris weather can shift on a dime and the conditions may be okay. They were not. I called that morning and told them that it was not wise for me, at my age and current health, to ride a bike In torrential rains. Despite the situation and my long and positive history with the company, there was no understanding or accommodation. I appreciate that they are running a business, and endured the era of COVID, but losing sight of the customer will never result in a positive review for me. What a shame, after all of these remarkable experiences….

I was unsure about riding around Paris in the rain both in terms or fun and more importantly my safety, but I need not have worried. Simon, our expert and wonderful guide, kept us all very safe and entertained. His energy wasn't dampened for a moment by the weather as he attentively showed us around hidden parts of Paris. At no point did I feel unsafe and instead I loved this tour. It rains in Paris, that's just life and I am so happy that I never let that spoil our plans to take this tour which honestly was a highlight for us.
