We visited five chocolate houses, some award-winning for their creations. The first one was really good, but that was just a tease because each one seemed better than the one before it. Really enjoyed the dark chocolates at both Michel Cluizel and Edwart and loved the macaroons at Pierre Herme. I would never have thought five pieces of chocolate would be too much (one per location), but I had to save the final tasting (macaroons) for later as I couldn't taste it while in the shop. Our guide was amazing and really knew her chocolates. Loved all that she shared with us. My husband did this tour because he loves me, so he was pleasantly surprised how much he enjoyed the whole experience.

Our guide, Melissa, was a dream! She was so sweet and friendly. Out of the 4 of us, 2 were semi under the weather recovering from a stomach bug. When we didn't want to taste the chocolate, she made sure to get us some to go home with us for when we felt better. This is a really neat way to see Paris. But, a note - this is not like getting turtles or a Russell Stover box - this is Haute chocolate at its finest. The shops you visit win awards and the chocolatiers put together combinations like chocolate, lemon and basil. Don't do this tour if you want chocolate and caramel at every stop. If you're adventurous and a foodie - sign up NOW!

We LOVED our tour. It was just us two and the tour guide so very personal. Learned a lot about the history of the city, history of chocolate, and much more! The chocolate was phenomenal and so was our guide. Highly recommend!
