The trip was very long for the tine in Normandie and the DDay experience. The guide was friendly but not expansive with information. Price was expensive and, for the cost, we could have done a private tour with a smaller group. The 360 movie was just okay.

Our group of four had a great time on our trip to Normandy. I will say the bus ride is long, but the coach was pretty comfortable. Our tour guide, Amelie, was so knowlegable and spoke to the region itself and the events that took place in depth during our bus ride (she literally was able to speak about this for the trip there and back - about 6 hours - which was very impressive to us!). Normandy itself is just an incredible experience. We started the day with a stop at Omaha beach. Be prepared, you don't get too much time here, just to take a few photos and maybe walk to the shoreline and back. After this, we went to the cemetery. This was one of the most impactful experiences of the trip. We were able to walk the grounds, seeings the headstones of the men and women (there are three buried there) who gave their lives. It was beautiful to see how they honored each soldier with an appropriate headstone whether Christian or Jewish. There was also a small museum to see at the cemetery. We then traveled to a small town for lunch and had about an hour before we were back on the bus. We went to a restaurant called Beach and it was delicious - highly recommend. There are a few souvenir shops to buy from here. Following lunch, we went to a 360 museum to watch a short film on the events surrounding the war and D day. The trip finished at Juno beach - where the Canadians landed. As an American, it was cool to see this. This was the end of the trip, and we went back to Paris after. Pick up and drop off was at the Pullman Hotel - get there early because they start on time! It was a long day, but well worth it.

Normandy has a lot of history and it the area was much larger than I thought. This was a great one day trip where you have the opportunity to see a little bit of everything.

Our day tour to Normandy was incredible! Led by knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide, Steve and driver, Jack, the day was full of historic and beautiful sights. The guys kept us on track and on time and hit all of the High Points of the Normandy beaches and the American cemetery. We stopped at a cute little seaside village for lunch and returned home just on time. I would highly recommend this tour!
