We purchased our tickets (6) last minute and it was an amazing part of the time spent in Paris. I am a mature (LOL) frustrated dancer and during the pre-show I had the opportunity to dance with LaMichael and I happened to be the only one on the floor with him and it was amazing to be able to spend a few moments with a professional. I also have the video which I will enjoy forever. The meal was great the show Fantastic! Worth every penny and then some. A don't miss part of your trip.
Wonderful show with amazing costumes and performances. The mime and the singer were really great. Be aware that for children the show can be a bit risque.
This was so fun, and it is such a shame it is closing. I am not even sure this review will be useful to anyone. It's a bit of a respite from the normal touring around. Dinner was good - we didn't do any upgrades and they were not necessary. If you go as a couple you are seated at a table of 6 and if you aren't in the first two seats you sometimes really have to stretch your neck to see depending on how the other people in front of you choose to sit. It was much longer than we expected. They get you through the full dinner before the show even starts, so it's maybe 90 minutes after you are there until the show begins, There were some acts before but it's mostly just music and a tiny bit of the host entertaining casually. Some couples were dancing. We loved the chance to put on our best and get our of shorts and t-shirts for a night. We'd definitely take the chance to schedule entertainment on a next trip after having this experience.
We paid nearly 200 euros per person for dinner, show and half a bottle of champagne. We paid more to be in category 1 seating but to be honest wish we hadn't have bothered, some people who were seated in category 2 had better seats than us. We struggled to see a lot of it as we were sat quite far back to the right, very disappointed. We arrived as a couple and had to share a table with others, not quite the intimate experience we had hoped for. The food was poor, the veal was overcooked and rubbery and very slow to come out. The show was enjoyable, but must admit that towards the end I was looking at my watch wondering when it was going to finish, got a bit bored and it was very samey and I love watching shows. Left feeling that we had been ripped off with poor seats and poor food. Wished we had gone to the Moulin Rouge now (didn't go there as heard mixed reviews about seating). Would I go again? Probably not, but if I did I would just purchase a ticket in the balcony area with no food.
Food was surprisingly good. It is always a challenge to feed 100+ people dinner successfully and they did. The show was very entertaining! If not a tiny bit long. Some parts were a little repetitive like the mime between every other act All in all a great experience to feel the Fench albeit tourist vibe.
